Gattola receives a letter (1715 April 16) from Alessandro Albani, cardinal and nephew of Clement XI, expressing the latter's pleasure at the selection of the sculptor Lorenzo Ottoni to create a statue of Prince Roberto Viscardi(?) for the monastery. In two subsequent letters (1717 May 21 and 1718 Jan. 22) Ottoni requests payment for the hire of the boat used to transport the statue and acknowledges receipt of payment.
